February is a low rain month for Dublin. Larry annd Linda visited Dublin for a week in February, 2006. They rode hop-on/off bus tours, walked along the River Liffey, strolled through St. Stephen's Green, visited the monestary founded by St. Stephen, didn't kiss the Blarney Stone, hoisted a pint at the Guinness Storehouse, got to see the Malahide Castle but missed the train museum, did a historical walking tour, and saw many statues, sculptures, and monuments.
In May, 2005, Larry and Linda flew in and out of Shannon, Ireland. They made their Irish base in Galway. They went to Kinvarra to check out Dunguaire Castle. They also got on a tour bus and saw Connemara and Kylemore Abbey.
Above - flying into the Shannon airport gave us our first glimpses of the Irish countryside.
