| Longhorn Cavern State Park is located near Inks Lake
State Park, Marble Falls, and Burnet ,
Texas. All of these are in the Texas Hill Country. The Texas State Parks web site has information about the park. This is really a cool little day use only park. The park is centered above a cave structure. What makes the caves unusual is that they were carved out by underground rivers. You can take a guided tour of the caves which I didn't do. All caves look alike to me. However, the cave entrance is worth seeing. I have pictures below. |
