Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site is located in Denison, Texas.  Denison is in the Prairies and Lakes region of Texas.   The Texas State Parks web site has information and on this park.

When you arrive at the historic site, you are directed to the visitor center shown below left. There is a small museum on the life of President Eisenhower. From the visitor center, you can join a walking tour of the grounds.

We stayed at Eisenhower State Park and used the state park as a launching point for exploring this area.

Above left - the front of the Eisenhower home where President Dwight D. Eisenhower was born.

Above right - the back of the Eisenhower home. The Park employee who led the walking tour was very helpful and knowledgable.
