| Bastrop State Park is located near Bastrop,
Texas. Bastrop is in Bastrop County Texas which is
near Austin, Texas. The Texas State Parks web site has information and a map of the park. We
were in Bastrop State Park in
February 2003. We were here last week and
the week before and the week
before as well. Our trailer will be here for all of November. We will be driving up on Friday nights and heading back Sunday afternoons. Thanksgiving weekend will be a bit different. We will be arriving on Wednesday evening. Until today, it has been pretty warm this November. Friday night and all day Saturday, it was fairly warm. Then Sunday morning, a cold front blew in. It went from 70 degrees at 9:30 AM to 55 degrees by 10:30. On the leading edge of the cold front were rain showers. It stopped raining by noon. We were out barbecuing by 1:30 PM. It turned out to be a nice day afterall. |
